Your annual project:

Planning a Holiday Brochure

Task:

Pick a country you'd like to research as a possible destination for a holiday. 

Look for material on that country on the Internet and other sources.

 

Write about:
a. The place of destination's location (global location in terms of continent, bordering countries, etc.)


b. The place of destination's weather (and the best time of year to visit there)

 

c. 3-5 attractions worthwhile visiting in the place of destination

 

d. 3-5 different local traditions/religions and customs practiced in the place of destination (might be foods, holidays, clothes, languages, etc).

 

     e. Historical and political background of the place


  f. Map of the place, pictures of the main attractions, weather details, etc

Hand in drafts to your teacher and once you get them back, correct them according to the teacher's comments

 

The project's final format

 

Page One: there should be a nice Cover Page with the name of the country, your name and the date you hand in the project

 

Page TWO is the Table of Contents, with page numbers

 

   Page Three is the Reflection Letter

 

   Pages Four/Five/Six: the brochure 

 

At the end comes a webliography/bibliogrpahy

  

A work file is attached. The file includes all the material downloaded from the net and all the drafts that you handed in and the teacher corrected 

 

Final date for handing in a completed project:  12.3.07
